Jon Greenfield

Jon Greenfield is the Director of Government Relations at Yeshiva University. In this capacity, Jon serves as the principle liaison between the university and local government officials at the city, state, and federal levels. Among his primary responsibilities is the procurement and management of programmatic and capital funding from the university’s public partners. In addition to this role, Jon is an adjunct professor of community organizing and politics at YU’s Wurzweiler Graduate School of Social Work.

Jon comes to YU with nearly a decade of experience working in the political sphere. Most recently, Jon was Managing Director of Communications for a major political consulting firm, acting as chief spokesperson and advisor to dozens of political campaigns in the New York metropolitan region. Previously, Jon served as spokesperson and policy advisor to former New York State Assembly Member Phil Goldfeder. He provides English and-Spanish language political commentary to major print and broadcast outlets, and was recognized as a rising star in New York City politics by City & State magazine.
