Classes on YU's Beren, Wilf and Bronx Campuses to be Remote on Tuesday due to Winter Storm

We are closely monitoring the winter storm advisory for Tuesday, February 13, 2024. The snow predictions vary by area but are expected to be significant throughout the NYC and tri-state area. Your safety is of utmost importance and we will update you as needed based on weather reports throughout the next few days. Expect difficult and slippery travel conditions that could impact travel and exercise extreme caution when traveling.
For that reason, all classes and work on the Beren, Wilf and Bronx campuses will be remote on Tuesday.  Essential personnel will be expected to remain on campus as directed by their managers.

Cardozo Students will receive a separate announcement about plans for Cardozo.

Scheduled events may be cancelled or remote.  Please contact the organizer for more information.
Please note the following:

  • Parking on Wilf Campus: All of the outdoor parking lots on Wilf will be closed starting at 6:00 pm tonight to prevent vehicles from being trapped by the snow and allow facilities to plow the lots.
  • Intercampus Shuttle: The intercampus shuttle service will be suspended
  • Cafeterias: Dining will remain open on Beren and Wilf campuses. Please refer to the dining website for any changes.
  • Athletics: Athletic centers will have additional hours of operation: 7:00 am to 2:00 am.
  • Libraries: While physical library spaces on the Wilf and Beren campuses will close, remote services for teaching and learning will operate as usual.
  • Batei Midrash: The batei midrash will remain open.
  • Undergraduate housing: Housing and Residence Life teams, including Resident Advisors will be on campus to meet the needs of all residents.
