We are a group of students dedicated to ensuring that students under the weather or in quarantine are cared for by the YU community. A student in quarantine does not have to be in isolation.
To this end, we have organized a system whereby care bags are delivered to students feeling ill. Want to get involved? Here’s how it works:
A friend, shiur assistant, Resident Advisor, or parent who hears of a student feeling under the weather fills out the google form to request a care bag for the student. Our dedicated team of volunteers will contact you, and we will assess the best way for the care bag to be delivered.
The care bag includes packets of tissues, cough drops, a bottle of gatorade, a kind bar, and a card from the YU community wishing the student a Refuah Shleimah and detailing the campus health resources.
Looking for more assistance when feeling ill? We deliver meals or snack packages from nearby Kosher restaurants directly to your dorm room. We also deliver gift baskets. Contact us at bcb@yu.edu to arrange a delivery. Click on the images below to explore menu options.
