Dr. Skolnik is an Assistant Professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work.Her teaching areas include advance clinical practice, social work practice theories, and group work. Her clinical experience extends more than twenty-five years with a focus on interpersonal trauma, domestic violence, and group work. Additionally, she is a certified psychodramatist and facilitates psychodrama groups for victims of domestic violence. Dr. Skolnik has presented both nationally and internationally on topics related to group work, psychodrama, and teaching social work practice with diverse populations in various settings
Teaching interests include clinical practice with individual and groups. Additionally, creative arts and healing and trauma informed practiced.
