The MS in Digital Marketing and Media faculty include both academics and industry professionals with experience in a range of industries.

Maria Blekher, MBA, PhD, Director of MS in Marketing
Dr. Blekher holds an MBA and a PhD in Marketing from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. Dr. Blekher believes that knowledge has the power to create change and should be useful and hands on. She developed the unique course Business in the Israeli Environment for the Sy Syms School of Business where she also teaches Principles of Marketing and Marketing Research. She has also taught in the departments of Management, Business Administration, and Industrial Engineering Management at both the graduate and undergraduate level at Ben-Gurion University. Dr. Blekher is the founder of MadeInIsrael.Info—an online educational platform that connects the American Jewish community to Israel by providing information about Israeli business and brands.

Gali Einav, PhD, Professor of Marketing, IDC Herzliya
Dr. Einav specializes in consumer behavior, research, and strategy, including the impact of digital transformation on media industries, marketing, and social structures. She received her PhD in communications from Columbia University. She teaches Digital Media.

Joseph Panzarella, Assistant Professor, Marketing
Mr. Panzarella holds a master’s degree in communications from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University. As a senior-level data analyst professional with more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, he has worked with companies such as AT&T, Verizon, and Pfizer. In addition, he’s held a position as an adjunct professor of analytics and digital marketing for the School of Professional Studies program at New York University.
