Major

All prospective Chemistry majors are strongly encouraged to take Introduction to Chemical Research (CHE 1936) during their first year on campus. This course is offered every Spring semester.
Introduction to Chemical Research (0.5 credits): CHE 1936;
General Chemistry I and II ( 8 credits): CHE 1045R or 1045H, CHE1046R or1046H, and CHE1047L;
Organic Chemistry I and II (8 credits): CHE 1213R, CHE 1215L, CHE 1214R;
Chemical Analysis (4 credits); CHE 1122C;
Advanced Chemistry Laboratory (3 credits): CHE 1222H;
Physical Chemistry I and II (8 credits): CHE 1415-1416;
Seminar in Advanced Chemistry (1 credit): CHE 1937 or 1938;
One additional advanced CHE course. 

Calculus I and II (8 credits): MAT 1412, 1413;
Physics I and II  (9-10 credits): PHY 1051R, or PHY 1031R&L, and PHY 1052R&1061L or PHY 1032R&L (Highly recommended: 1051R, 1052R, and 1061L )

 Minor

General Chemistry I and II ( 8 credits): CHE 1045R or 1045H, CHE1046R or1046H, and CHE1047L;
Organic Chemistry I and II (8 credits): CHE 1213R, CHE 1215L, CHE 1214R;
