Degrees & Programs

The University’s first graduate school (1937), Revel—named after the first president of Yeshiva University—prepares teachers, researchers and scholars in Jewish studies. It offers the following:

  • An MA program in Bible, medieval Jewish history, modern Jewish history, Jewish philosophy, and Talmudic studies
  • A PhD program in Bible, medieval Jewish history, modern Jewish history, medieval Jewish philosophy, modern Jewish philosophy, and Talmud
  • A dual MA-MS program with YU's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration
  • A dual BA/MA or BS/MA program for undergraduate students at YU
