MBA Program Emphasis

Our MBA program emphasizes three themes that are integrated throughout the curriculum.

Entrepreneurship: We encourage partnerships between schools and institutes, students and alumni, the NYC community, and government officials. We have strong connections to Israel and its Start-up nation technology and entrepreneurial spirit.  Yeshiva University is home of the YU Innovation Lab — our student-fueled, consultant-led startup accelerator in the business heart of New York City

Leadership: A special emphasis on how different business tools and theories can enhance the ability to lead and perform in highly competitive and stressful environments. Courses concentrate on developing leadership skills including management in a global environment and a series of speakers comprising some of the most successful executives and entrepreneurs.

Ethics: Set at Yeshiva University, this program weaves YU values with business ethics by teaching how a sustainable business model can be achieved while also providing benefit to the community and its environment. Our curriculum emphasizes the central role of business ethics in our core Ethics and Legal Environment course and focuses on ethical issues in cases studied throughout the curriculum.

We give our students a firm foundation in the functional areas of business:  Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Data, Accounting. You will learn, at a graduate level, the important concepts and vocabulary. Thus, you will have the opportunity to develop the broad skills and confidence needed for 21st Century business leadership.

Contact Us

We offer potential students the opportunity to sit in on a class and speak with a current student or faculty member. By visiting Sy Syms School of Business, you will experience the unique way our faculty and students engage with one another and how what they learn in the classroom translates to what they will be doing as professionals. If you have questions about the program or would like to arrange a visit, please contact the Office of Graduate Enrollment at gradschool@yu.edu or 1-833-241-4723.
