Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, and Sales

Welcome to the CAPS Community for Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, and Sales - a place where you can make connections and partnerships for success with career advisors, faculty and alumni. This community represents diverse career options across many types of organizations. There are many facets to careers in these areas ranging from business to business (B2B) as well as business to consumer (B2C) and those who pursue careers in these fields tend to possess personal competitive characteristics and business insights that help them continue and navigate their careers in any economy. Careers in Banking, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, on Wall Street and within Customer Success, fall within this community.

Yeshiva University’s rigorous curriculum prepares you with strengths that are especially relevant to these areas and this community will provide you with the professional connections and partnerships you need.

You are encouraged to get started by engaging with your CAPS Community Career Advisor by scheduling an appointment in Yeshiva University Career Link (YUCL) to meet with Sharon Mella-Reyes, the CAPS Community Advisor for Finance and Accounting, or with Illana Julius, the CAPS Community Advisor for Real Estate and Sales.

Yeshiva University Accounting Society

Welcome to Yeshiva University's Accounting Society! We guide students of all majors to understand the language of business and explore career opportunities in accounting. Those who join the accounting society are active members with access to a large network to use to their advantage! We also run several events throughout the semester, some of which prepare students for the upcoming recruitment cycles, where they will be prepared for applications, interviews, and networking. We also plan on running an event soon that gives students a feel for why they should major in accounting: the usefulness of an accounting degree and the various types of jobs they can apply for with an accounting degree, whether in public or private accounting, finance, or even law.
