    Guide to the Yeshiva Cover - UpdatedDesigned to meet the needs of young men from every background, Undergraduate Torah Studies at Yeshiva University comprises four programs for our men students at Yeshiva College and Sy Syms School of Business. These programs are designed for students with varying levels of experience and expertise:

    Jewish studies at YU are based on classical Talmud Torah, an intensive analysis of classic Jewish texts in their Hebrew and Aramaic originals. In addition to the four programs above, eligible students in MYP and IBC can apply to their respective honors program.

    Our graduates receive an integrated education that is the equivalent of two complete undergraduate degrees and a thorough development of Torah knowledge, worldview and character. To help get you there is the Undergraduate Torah Studies’ unparalleled cadre of roshei yeshiva, rebbeim, mashgichim and staff, who take the time to get to know you and work closely with you to achieve your goals at Yeshiva University.     BA/Semicha Program

    Yeshiva University and its affiliate Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary have a long and rich history as an outstanding Yeshiva with the finest roshei yeshiva and talmidim. In keeping with this tradition, Yeshiva University has inaugurated the BA/Semicha Program. This new program allows students interested in Jewish education or the rabbinate to pursue a quality undergraduate degree, while fully immersed in the Torah that YU has to offer. Over the course of six years, talmidim will have the ability to learn three sedarim a day and enjoy a unique halacha curriculum, including a chelek of Mishna Berura each year.

    Masmidim Program

    Developed for students with the potential to become genuine talmidei chachamim, the Masmidim program offers a rigorous, structured learning schedule and curriculum in order to maximize religious and spiritual growth.
