Welcome to the CAPS Community for professions within healthcare and medicine - a place where you can make connections and partnerships for success with career advisors, faculty, and alumni. Students interested in becoming medical doctors, dentists, and nurses will find this community helpful in their development. In this community, you will be able to get advice and guidance on applications, personal statements, and specific interview processes unique to these professions. Students interested in careers in nursing, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or as a physician's assistant can call this community home as can those interested in conducting medical research.
Yeshiva University’s rigorous curriculum prepares you with strengths that are especially relevant to these areas and this community will provide you with the professional connections and partnerships you need.
You are encouraged to get started by engaging with your CAPS Community Career Advisors by scheduling an appointment in Yeshiva University Career Link (YUCL). You can meet with Naomi Kapp, the CAPS community advisor for those interested in being a doctor or dentist, or conducting medical research. Daniel Coleman is the CAPS community advisor for those interested in pursuing careers as a physician's assistant, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, or nurse.
