Dr. Daniel Tsadik, Assistant Professor of Sephardic and Iranian Studies, will moderate a distinguished panel of writers, scholars and local community members discussing Iranian Jewish Identity on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at the Center for Jewish History in Manhattan.
A large community of Iranian Jews – both within and outside Iran – continues the traditions of one of the world's oldest Jewish communities. The panel, which will include Roya Hakakian, Reuven Namdar and Houman Sarshar, will discuss the richness and complexity of being an Iranian Jew. This event is co-presented with the Center for Jewish History and the American Sephardi Federation.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for YUM, CJH, ASF members, seniors, students.
