Akiva Axel ('16) met with Morah Haibi's 11th and 12th grade students to have a discussion in Hebrew. Akiva is currently in Yeshiva מכינת עצם Otzem-Pre-Military Torah Academy, in the Southern part of Israel and he explained to the students the importance of learning Hebrew in order to communicate in Israel. He shared his experiences - all in Hebrew - about the hardships he had while learning the language, but at the same time how rewarding it was for him. It was a wonderful experience for the students to not only showcase the Hebrew they had learned, but it also helped their confidence in their ability to communicate.
