This past Monday, the tenth grade Honors College, accompanied by Mr. Kulnis and Dr. Taylor, took a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While there, they were taken on a captivating tour in which they were shown beautiful pieces of art, and then given free time to analyze the works of Monet, Van Gogh, and other world-famous artists. This trip could not have come at a better time as it coincided directly with their learning about these very same ideas in history class - Realism, Impressionism, and other art movements that were popular in the 1800's. The students greatly enjoyed this trip and are looking forward to applying their newfound knowledge to their studies.
