Invited by, Dr. Marina Byshovets, clinical associate professor of nursing, Ezagui brought that story to the Katz College of Science and Health at Yeshiva University in Midtown. She spoke with students in the B.S. in Nursing program from Nursing Cohorts 2 and 3.

"It was truly my pleasure to help bring Miriam to YU Nursing," said Dr. Byshovets. "It was especially rewarding to see how engaged our students were. Creating meaningful experiences like this for our students is something I am very passionate about."

Ezagui talked about her path into nursing and labor and delivery and the value and impact of being a registered nurse. She also shared insights on balancing a demanding professional career with personal and family life. For many students, it was a rare chance to hear from a nurse whose life looks a lot like their own.

Ezagui is also known for using social media to educate. Her videos explain Orthodox customs, show scenes from her shifts, and push back on antisemitism.
