by Noam Josse ('17) The Varsity hockey team traveled to Westchester to take on the Westchester Hebrew High School Wolverines on Monday. Lead by goalie Zeve Kornwasser ('18) and a strong defensive effort, the Lions were able to beat the Wolverines by a score of 15-0. Scoring for MTA came easy with goals from: Elie Burg ('18), Zach Borgen ('17), Josh Appel ('17), Yaakov Bienstock ('18), Elazar Mermelstein ('17), Reuven Penn ('17), Yisrael Chaim Sabel ('17), Izzy Klavan ('18), and Naftali Pudell ('17). Overall the team played well and looks forward to continuing their winning ways versus Ramaz on Saturday night.
