MTA hosted its first blood drive of the school year this past Wednesday. Coordinated by the Arista National Honors Society, the blood drive was held throughout the entire day in the MTA library. Dozens of students showed up to do a simple good deed that literally saves lives. Additionally, many faculty members and YU students showed up to participate in this extraordinary chessed program as well. Everyone who donated was treated to Dunkin Donuts and other snacks after completing his donation. By the end of the day, a total of 48 pints of blood were collected- an incredible accomplishment! With sincere thanks to all those who donated, we are looking forward to even larger turnout in future blood drives.
