This week, the MTA Varsity Lions basketball team pulled off a great win against Ramaz. Led by great big-man play by Josh Blumenthal and Ilan Steinmetz, combining for 30 pts., and a couple clutch threes from Willy Kluger, the Lions got their first victory of the season, 51-49, in front of the home crowd. They hope to carry this momentum into their games next week at Derech Hatorah and at home Wednesday night against Kushner. With wins in both of these games, the Lions would even out their record at 3-3.
