Kukin Program Students Win Writing Competitions
Cardozo student Ariel Cox’s paper, written for the ADR Writing Seminar, “Serve & Protect, Honor & Respect: Restoring the Victims and Rebuilding Police and Community Ties After Racially Charged Civilian-Police Incidents,” won an Honorable Mention (2nd place) in the Boskey ADR Writing Competition sponsored by the ABA’s Section on Dispute Resolution. Bet Tzedek Clinic Students Hold Advanced Directives Pop-up Clinic
On Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, the students in the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic held an Advanced Directives Pop-Up Clinic for constituents from New York State Assemblyman Al Taylor’s Northern Manhattan district. 2L students Tiffany Cheung and Tyler Dixon gave PowerPoint presentations on Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney, respectively, followed by a Q&A with the audience.
