Our core of Torat Emet requires us to acknowledge the immutability of Torah, and that our past can make moral claims on our present. “Our core of Torat Chesed requires that we be caring and compassionate in the way we treat others within our communities. This season of self-reflection is a time for us to measure whether we live up to both of these ideals.”
