Rabbi Alter B. Metzger, professor of Jewish studies at Yeshiva University's Stern College for Women, received an award from the clinical psychology program at Columbia University's Teachers College. The award recognized "outstanding lifetime achievement and contribution in both scholarship and service for Jewish Education."
