Edith Lubetski '68BR, head librarian at Stern College for Women's Hedi Steinberg Library, and her husband, Meir Lubetski, a professor of modern languages and comparative literature at the City University of New York, received an honorable mention in the 2008 Judaica Reference and Bibliography Awards for their recently published book, Esther: A Classified Bibliography (Sheffield Phoenix Press, 2008), a guide to scholarly works on the biblical book of Esther. The Association of Jewish Libraries gives out the awards every year.
