YU Rabbis and Students Come Together to Celebrate Sukkot

During the holiday of Sukkot, five YU rebbeim [rabbis] invited former and current talmidim [students] to their sukkahs to reconnect and reflect as they celebrated a simchas beis hashoeva [celebration held during the intermediate days of Sukkot] with singing and divrei torah [words of Torah]. The participating rebbeim, who hosted more than one hundred current and former talmidim, were Rabbis Elchanan Adler, Eliakim Koenigsberg, Daniel Stein, Mayer Twersky and Netanel Wiederblank. In the words of Menachum Polack, a current student at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, it was a special time that “reminded us of how far we had come, how far we still need to go and, most importantly, that our rebbe has always been there for us and will continue to be there for us by providing his talmidim unending care, support and guidance.”
