Over the past 12 months, YU students traveled the world on various service learning missions, volunteered their time and took part in post-Sandy disaster relief efforts. Notable guests to Yeshiva in 2012 included Gilad Shalit, Mayor Cory Booker, Alan Dershowitz, Michael Medved, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, Takeru Kobayashi and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
