Aaron Tuchman ’24SB — Co-Founder and CEO, Noble Custom Suits

From Bergenfield to Long Island: A Journey in Fashion

Aaron, a Bergenfield, NJ native, graduated from Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business in May 2024 with a major in Strategy & Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. His journey from a student with a dream to the founder of a successful custom suit company is a testament to his dedication and vision.

“My education and experience at Sy Syms, specifically the guidance and mentorship of some incredible professors like Mark Finkel and Ari Zoldan, provided me with invaluable insights, knowledge and skills that laid the foundation for successfully founding my company,” Aaron reflects.

Crafting a Unique Experience

Noble Custom Suits, which Aaron launched during his college years, has quickly made a name for itself in the fashion world. While still in college, Aaron managed to balance schoolwork with running Noble Custom Suits, achieving an impressive $75,000 in revenue. Aaron’s role encompasses every aspect of the business, from tailoring to client relations, ensuring that each suit is crafted to meet the highest standards of quality and personalization.

“The biggest difference is the convenience,” Aaron explains. “I’ve made suits for clients at 1 a.m. My clients never have to carve out time to commute for appointments unless they want to. "Having a young, stylish guy like me running the show means I can innovate in ways the older crowd might not."

Inspired by Passion and Family

Aaron’s journey into the world of custom suits was inspired by his personal experience with a custom suit he ordered for his wedding. Disappointed by the service and product, he saw an opportunity to create a high-end yet relatable service with a focus on customer satisfaction, fair pricing and innovative styles.

“I always had a passion for fashion and my experience with custom suits made me want to offer a better option,” Aaron reflects. His father, Donny Tuchman ’99YC, a former psychology major and CEO of Cobble Hill Health Center, has been a pillar of support throughout his entrepreneurial journey, even serving as his first customer. “My father's unwavering support has kept me going even when things seemed impossible,” Aaron notes. Aaron’s uncles -  Yoni Tuchman ’00YC; Hillel Tuchman ’03YC; Aryeh Tuchman ’01BR, ’01R; and Rabbi Duvie Nachbar ’02YC, ’05R, ’12BR, a Maggid Shiur at Stern College for Women and GPATS, and a clinical assistant professor at YU - are Yeshiva University alumni as well.

The Noble Process: Tailoring Excellence

Noble Custom Suits offers a meticulous, customer-centric process. The journey begins with an initial appointment where clients choose fabrics, linings and buttons and then select every single feature of the suit from top to bottom. Once the customization is done, over 25 measurements are taken of the client. After a 3-4 week period, clients try on their suit for any necessary adjustments, ensuring a perfect fit. This commitment to detail and customer satisfaction sets Noble apart from other custom suit makers.

Some of Aaron’s higher-profile clientele include former Yeshiva University basketball star and NBA G-Leaguer Ryan Turell (left) and Hillel Fuld (center and right), a well-known global speaker, tech columnist and startup marketing advisor.

Mr. Fuld, who has purchased two custom suits from Aaron, shared his experience:

“I had the pleasure of purchasing two custom suits from Noble Custom Suits. The process was quick and easy. I had specific styles and colors in mind, and Aaron was quick to find exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend working with Aaron and upgrading your wardrobe!”

Advice for Future Entrepreneurs

Aaron’s advice to students and aspiring entrepreneurs is straightforward: “Just go for it. Everyone will tell you that you’re crazy, that you should look for that cozy-salaried corporate job. It’s worth every second of the grind if you do what you love. Work hard, have faith in Hashem and be resilient.”

Looking Ahead

With his innovative approach and relentless drive, Aaron Tuchman is well-positioned to continue making waves in the world of custom menswear. His blend of strategic thinking, marketing savvy, and personal passion ensures that Noble Custom Suits remains at the forefront of the industry, delivering tailored elegance with a personal touch.
