This year, Rabbi Mordechai Cohen, associate dean of Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, is heading a 13-member international research group sponsored by the Jerusalem Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS). The scholars are studying early Jewish, Christian and Muslim strategies of scriptural interpretation and their contemporary implications from September through February at the IAS center on the Hebrew University campus.
