Jacob Stern ’20YC, Shani Kahan ’21S, Mordechai Walder ’20YC and Bar Alluf ’20YC are this year’s Kressel Scholars, winners of a Bertha Kressel Research Scholarship, a program established in 2008 by Dr. Henry Kressel ’55YC, chairman emeritus of the YU Board of Trustees and a special limited partner of Warburg Pincus LLC. The scholarship provides the students a stipend and support expenses to conduct a year-long intensive research project under the direct supervision of University faculty. Kressel Scholars are expected to share their work in professional and peer circles to stimulate a larger intellectual discussion on their chosen topics.
