Professor Richard Weisberg spoke on Nov. 15 at the 20th anniversary gathering in Paris of individuals who have worked on the restitution of material and banking losses to Jews affected by the Vichy regime's laws during WWII. Professor Christopher Buccafusco gave a talk at the Notre Dame Design Law Roundtable November 15, and participated in the Entertainment Law Initiative panel discussion on music copyright law at Cardozo on Nov. 18. Professor Gabor Rona will speak on a panel called From Guantanamo to The Hague: Accountability for U.S. Torture at CUNY Law School on Nov. 25. Professor Kate Shaw will speak on a panel at Princeton University's Harlan Lecture: Beyond the Bench: Federal Judges, Public Engagement, & Civil Rights Reform on Dec. 5. Professor Suzanne Last Stone will speak at the 51st Annual Conference of the Association of Jewish Studies in San Diego on Dec. 17 and the Plenary Session of Annual Conference of Society of Jewish, Christian and Muslim Ethics, in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 12. Professor Lela Love will be a Presenter for the Conference on Global Dispute Resolution of Pepperdine University School of Law Nov. 22-23 in Malibu, CA. Professor Michel Rosenfeld is a speaker at a conference of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities which will take place in Jerusalem in December 2019. Professor Paul Gugliuzza will sit on a panel titled, “Teaching Intellectual Property Law,” at American Association of Law Schools Annual Meeting, Washington, D.C., in January 2020.
