One Last Chance to Celebrate Friendships and Memories
On Monday May 6, 2019, the men and women of Yeshiva University’s graduating class of 2019 gathered together for the University’s annual Senior Dinner. It was truly a night to remember.
Curated by the YU Senior Class Representatives and the Office of Student Life, and sponsored by the student councils, the night was one of great food, fun entertainment, and beautiful memories with friends both old and new.
For the entertainment, the seniors participated in a high-tech, high-energy, live trivia game show by “The Big Quiz Thing: The Ultimate Trivia Night Experience.” The material was customized to YU, and everyone was excited to participate. Each table formed a team, and the winning team received medals to wear.
Sam Gelman, ’19YC, remarked that “it really felt like a collision of worlds. You meet so many people over your years here through different clubs, classes and events, and to see everyone together as a class eating and joking around really created a feeling of community. We have all come so far and to see everyone where they are now compared to where they were three or four years ago was an amazing sight.”
With graduation just a few weeks away, Senior Dinner was an amazing way to bring the class of 2019 together, and hopefully, it was the first of many celebrations to come.
Congratulations graduates!

The theme for the event was Black Tie, and the venue was adorned in black, white, and gold decorations.
Essen Deli, the dinner’s caterer, started off the evening serving hors d’oeuvres on the venue’s rooftop terrace, continuing with delicious meat dishes, wraps, and salads, and ending with a hot dessert bar and ice cream. This three-course meal was definitely a highlight.
