MTA Represents France At YUNMUN

By: Binyamin Fox (‘21) On Sunday, February 14th, the MTA Model UN team participated in the annual Yeshiva University National Model United Nations Conference (YUNMUN). Held virtually on Zoom due to the pandemic, this dynamic conference brings together delegates from yeshiva high schools across the country and beyond to represent the views of actual countries and debate, and hopefully resolve, pressing issues facing the international community. Under the leadership of Faculty Advisor Mr. Murray Sragow and Team Captain Binyamin Fox, MTA’s Model UN team diligently prepared for the conference over the course of the past few months. Proudly representing the country of France, the team enjoyed the opportunity to culminate these months of hard work and preparation at the conference. Congratulations to Dovi Goldberg ('23) for winning an Honorable Mention award on the World Health Organization committee and to Raffi Weil ('22) for winning Best Delegate of UNESCO! The team eagerly awaits participating in next year's conference, which will hopefully take place in-person.
