Six MTA Seniors - Noam Mayerfield (Teaneck, NJ), Ezra Muskat (West Hempstead, NY), Dov Pfeiffer (Bergenfield, NJ), Ariel Retter (Bergenfield, NJ), Akiva Richman (West Hempstead, NY), and Yehuda Snow (Edison, NJ) —received Letters of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the United States are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers out of the more than 1.6 million students who took the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test.
