Last night, our 10th and 11th graders joined together in what was called a "Mishmar Mash-up" in connection with MTA Spirit Month. Each of the students was paired up with a random chavrusa from the other grade and everyone learned the same mekoros about tefillah.
Additionally, to mark December 4th, on which we begin to say ותן טל ומטר, all students given a free can of Mountain Dew soda. At the end of the program, all students were treated to a wonderful shiur by Rabbi Tani Cohen and then we alldavened Maariv together. It was wonderful to fill the Bais Medrash and to hear the kol Torah echoing throughout the room. This was one of many activities of MTA Spirit Month.
