On Motzaei Shabbos at the annual MTA Shababton, after the hilarious senior video, the student council surprised everyone  with the announcement of "Spirit Month" - 4+ weeks of grade competitions, banners, and videos, and an extra emphasis on school spirit with pep rallies and special fan buses every week for various sports games. There will be school-wide events that build on school spirit, and some toying with the Hogwarts theme - in connection with which students received special tee-shirts, varying from grade to grade - because, after all, our school building is a castle! The seniors will also be selling brand new 5775 edition MTA apparel with their Spirit Sale. There will be special community tisches as well, spreading the ruach of the MTA family. Spirit Month will culminate in our annual Chanukah Chagigah, where each grade will present their projects and we will draw the winners of the annual raffle.
