One of the great values of our school's being able to benefit so regularly from our close association with Yeshiva Universitys is the availability of the Yeshiva University Drama Society. For years, freshmen students have been attending the productions of YUDS each semester. This past Wednesday, the group was expanded to include sophomores.
In all, sixty students walked over to YU's Schottenstein Center theater to watch "The Mouse That Roared" directed by Ms. Lin Snider. Having the entire theater full of our students gave an intimate quality to watching this interesting comedy involving two countries, wine and a mouse. We watched the final rehearsal, with a few foibles, and really enjoyed it all.
Accompanied by Shuey Jacoby and our own teachers, the students laughed and applauded often. We look forward to the fall production, whatever that may be.
