radical responsibilityA volume of essays co-edited by Dr. Daniel Rynhold, associate professor of modern Jewish philosophy and director of the PhD program at YU's Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, has been reviewed in the Times Literary Supplement. "Radical Responsibility: Celebrating the thought of Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks" (Maggid 2013), co-edited by Rynhold, Michael J. Harris and Tamra Wright, was reviewed in the July 12 edition of the weekly supplement. The volume brings together 13 luminaries of Jewish and Western thought to explore the intellectual legacy of Rabbi Sacks, centering on ethics, justice, religion and leadership. Praise for the collection in the review included this line: "For those interested in the issues that occupy the minds of contemporary thinkers of the modern Orthodox persuasion, there is much here to engage their attention."
