Leon S. Bhupathi

Leon S. Bhupathi is a Master of Science in Computer Science candidate at the Katz School of Science and Health at Yeshiva University, with an anticipated graduation in May 2027. He brings healthcare AI experience from Siemens Healthineers, where he contributed to developing and deploying AI solutions on Microsoft Azure, combining technical expertise with a focus on building impactful, real-world technology.

Alison Brown

Alison Brown (LCSW-C) is a Wurzweiler student pursuing her doctorate in Social Welfare. She currently works as a therapist in an outpatient mental health clinic in Baltimore, Maryland, and she is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and communities in their fights for justice, equity, and safety.

Amaya Escandon

Amaya Escandon is a JD Candidate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She has worked with the Cardozo Civil Rights Clinic to advocate for the rights of incarcerated people.

Megan Mayfield

Megan Mayfield is currently pursuing a masters degree in Holocaust Studies at the Emil A. and Jenny Fish Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at YU. In addition to helping her husband run his software company, she volunteers as a Refugee Family Mentor, helping families adjust to life in America after they fled violence in their native countries.

Liat Polinsky

Liat Polinsky is pursuing her MSW at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has spent time as a crisis advocate, and worked with survivors of domestic violence. For her Sacks Impact project she will be working to provide resources and coping strategies to women struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
