Self Study Guide 2023-2024

What is a Self Study?

MSCHE requires that the Self-Study process to include University-wide input. Everyone across campus – whether student, faculty, staff, or administrator – should be aware that the process is underway, be familiar the MSCHE Standards and Requirements of Affiliation, and know that there are opportunities to participate.

Members of the University community may participate as members of the Steering Committee, the Working Groups conducting research into the University’s compliance with each MSCHE Standard, or provide feedback on drafts of interim reports as well as the final Self-Study Report itself.

This Self-Study process will be followed by a visit in spring 2024 by a team composed of volunteer experts from colleges and universities similar to YU, which will conduct a site visit to confirm the research presented in the Self-Study, request additional evidence for the Self-Study’s assertions, and conduct follow-up meetings with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to solicit further input.

Please check back for regular updates and information about how you can contribute to the MSCHE Self-Study process.
