Benefits at YU

At Yeshiva University our employees are among our most valued resources. We are proud of the opportunities that we provide to our employees and part of our commitment to you is providing you with a competitive and comprehensive set of employee benefits designed to meet the changing needs of you and your family.

Non-Union employees are eligible for Yeshiva University Benefits if they are full time or part time and are scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week on a regular basis throughout the year. Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits. Members of 1199 SEIU may participate in some of Yeshiva University voluntary benefit programs but they participate in a separate health and welfare benefits program and should contact their Union Representative for details about those plans.

Our programs include medical, prescription drugs, dental, life insurance, short and long term disability, long term care, Aflac, retirement benefits, tuition remission and more!

The University Benefits Office of the Human Resources Department administers these programs. Please feel free to contact us with your questions and suggestions.
