Learning Spanish is a great way to enrich your understanding of the cultures that make New York City such a vibrant place. It is also a gateway to many other cultures, literatures and histories around the world. For many professions—from medicine to social work to law to business—proficiency in Spanish is an asset or a necessity.
YC’s Spanish courses aim to equip students with the four essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. We are working to increase our Spanish offerings, semester by semester. Our courses are staffed by dynamic teachers from the New York area’s top graduate programs.
If you are interested in pursuing Spanish and don’t see the class you’re looking for, please contact Dr. Rachel Mesch.
