Wendy Williams holds a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from the CUNY Graduate Center and their Certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy. She joined Yeshiva University in Fall 2018 as founding Director of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning, part of Academic Affairs. She previously worked as Director of Teaching and Learning for Long Island University and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Her doctoral dissertation research focused on technology and the Chinese diaspora with research conducted in the internet cafes of Brooklyn’s Chinatown. Her background combines scholarly training with twenty years of management experience at media companies Time Warner and Bertelsmann.

Daphne Kohavy holds a M.S. in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Secondary Education, Social Studies from CUNY's Queens College, with experience in both secondary and post-secondary classrooms. She joined Yeshiva University in 2016 as the inaugural teaching and learning specialist after working at NYIT’s Center for Teaching and Learning. Her path from educator to instructional designer was inspired by participation in the Startup NYC Weekend hackathon. She was an award-winning teacher and advisor at Manhattan Village Academy High School. Compiling research for her masters thesis “The Confluence of Art and History in a Heterogeneous Classroom” and backwards designing a portfolio assessment resulted in an invitation to the NY District 9 Principal’s conference and Leadership recognition at Queens College.
