In December 2012, Yeshiva University went public with a $1 billion plus comprehensive, University-wide capital campaign. In light of Yeshiva's distinctive mission, the campaign has two overarching goals:
1. To advance excellence in all Yeshiva University schools, while providing each student with the tools to succeed in his or her chosen profession and to live a life of meaning.
2. To strengthen Yeshiva's capacity to serve as the key educational, intellectual and spiritual resource for Jewish communities around the world.
Inspired by a historic gift of $100 million from Ronald P. Stanton in November 2006, the campaign has raised, to date, over $1 billion. The campaign is having a transformative impact with respect to financial aid, academics, facilities, the quality of student life, and community outreach.
To the campaign's original goal of $1 billion, the University had added $400 million in undergraduate scholarships funds, which is essential to strengthening the undergraduate schools, Yeshiva's core priority.
