Education, Human Services, Psychology, and Non-Profits

CAPS Community

Welcome to the CAPS Community for Education, Human Services, Psychology, and Non-Profits - a place where you can make connections and partnerships for success with career advisors, discipline related faculty and alumni working within these areas. Students interested in Education, Human Services, Psychology, and Non-Profit careers often like to instruct, advocate, mentor, research, guide, and assist individuals and various groups or populations. They are concerned with issues like social justice, equality, educational access and attainment, mental health, and individual and community wellness. They enjoy helping others, working with organizations delivering services aligned with their passions, and contributing to the good of society. These students tend to have strong interpersonal and communication skills and tend to be empathetic, patient, and understanding. They explore positions in teaching, instructing, social work, counseling, the Rabbinic, guidance, advocacy, and Jewish camp and community development.

Yeshiva University’s rigorous curriculum prepares you with strengths that are especially relevant to these areas and this community will provide you with the professional connections and partnerships you need.
