2019 Katz Commencement

  1. How do I get academic attire?
The Katz Student Life office orders academic attire for every student who submits the Application to Graduate on time. Due to COVID-19, there was no on-campus pickup; attire was shipped directly to students. Students who applied to graduate on time but did not receive attire should contact katzeyec@yu.edu.
  2. How do graduates and guests access the online ceremony?
Go to yu.edu/2020Katz and click “VIEW THE CEREMONY 8.13.20 AT 8 P.M.” Starting at 8 p.m. on August 13, you can watch Commencement from that page.
  3. When will I receive my diploma?
Your diploma will be mailed to you approximately 6 weeks after your official graduation date. For example, if you are finishing your degree at the end of the Summer semester, your graduation date will be at the end of August, so you can expect to receive your diploma in mid-October. If your address changes, contact the registrar’s office.
  4. I’m graduating with an associate degree from the Katz School. Which ceremony should I attend?
Students completing undergraduate degrees (associate and bachelor’s) participated in the Yeshiva University Eighty-Ninth Annual Commencement Exercises.  Visit yu.edu/commencement for more information.
