We at the Career Center realize the critical role you play in your child's professional development. We ask for your support in encouraging your son or daughter to take advantage of our resources.
We recommend that students come to see us early in their college career. But we are also happy to meet with them at any point during their time here and offer assistance at every stage. Our services include everything from guidance in choosing a major to support in making advanced career moves long after graduation.
Our resources encompass counseling appointments, career testing and assessments, industry research, panels and workshops, writing and editing of resumes, graduate school essays and other documents, networking opportunities, and interview preparation. To find out more about what we offer, please explore this web site and encourage your son or daughter to do the same.
We hope you'll be an active partner in your child's career development process. While they seek independence financially, emotionally, and personally, they rely on your input. We encourage you to share in decision-making, help them network with friends and family members, and inspire them to expand their options.
We invite you to partner with the center in other ways too. You may wish to offer your expertise for students interested in informational interviews, as a guest speaker or panelist at one of our career workshops, or keep us informed of job and internship opportunities in your organization.
