NCBI Bookshelf (National Center for Biotechnology Information) - a database of biomedical books searchable by concept.

National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) - The primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the US and other nations.

The New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics - This comprehensive and dynamic resource contains the full text of the 8-volume print edition, and is updated at least four times a year.  Articles are authored by leading economics experts, including Nobel Laureates.

A comprehensive web-based data management system, designated for education and research, to retrieve information from financial, economic, and marketing data sources. Sources that may be accessed through WRDS include: Compustat, CRSP, Mergent FISD, and NYSE TAQ. Current faculty, staff, research assistants, and graduate students at Yeshiva University may register for a WRDS account. Faculty may also request class accounts.
