Academic Computing is a service center for students and faculty who require support with Academic Computing equipment and facilities at Yeshiva University.
We support and maintain the university’s multimedia-enhanced classrooms / conference rooms, computer labs, and classroom labs.
Additionally, we support the use of the YUWireless network. There are nearly 800 machines - both PC and MAC - in our operation. In total, Academic Computing supports over 6,000 students, both and graduate and undergraduate. Academic Computing is a division of the Yeshiva University Information Technology Services (ITS) department.
The ITS department develops and maintains the Information Technology infrastructure at large, including the University network, faculty / administrative computing, email, and other Academic Computing-based applications.
Our goal is to support the students' use of technology in the academic environment, and the faculty use of instructional technology.
Academic Computing also provides multimedia support for staff and administrators on a limited basis.
