ADMISSION
All applicants to TMSTA from the Tri-State area must
take the BJE examination. You must register directly with the BJE in order to be seated
for that examination. We are primarily concerned with your performance on the VERBAL and
MATH sections. For those who wish to participate in advanced Hebrew Language classes, the
Hebrew composition is also reviewed. The BJE Will forward to us the results of the BJE
examination for all students who have applied for admission to TMSTA.
After we receive your application for admission, we
will notify you of the date of your Torah Studies oral examination and interview with a
member of our staff.
Our Admissions Committee reviews each application
with the utmost care and concern. In several instances, we meet with members of the
faculty and administration of your current school to get a better understanding of your
accomplishments and strengths. The decision of our Admissions Committee is sent to you in
early February.
