  • P-Card Program

The Yeshiva University Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program has been established to provide a convenient means with which to make purchases and, at the same time, reduce the costs associated with initiating and paying for those purchases. The Purchasing Card used is a MasterCard issued by JPMorgan Chase.

It is University policy to procure items/service via a purchase order. Only in instances where a purchase order is not accepted can a Purchasing Card can be used. Many items that are currently procured using personal funds, check requests, blanket orders or petty cash are prime candidates for Purchasing Card use.

The University's Procurement Services is responsible for managing the program, and each academic or administrative department is responsible for managing its cardholders.

We are currently in phase I of the program rollout, with a limited number of schools/departments selected for participation. Phase I is expected to run through the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Additional schools/departments will be considered as we get closer to the end of fiscal year.
