Membership at the Yeshiva University Museum entitles you to the benefits listed below and you can visit the galleries as often as you wish.

Your tax-deductible membership provides financial support for our many exhibitions and workshops.  Equally important, however, your membership strengthens us through your participation and interest.  As a member of the Museum, you are our ambassador at large.

The Museum is fortified as a unique teaching institution dedicated to continuing education about Judaism and Jews, past and present, near at hand and in places many of us will never visit.   In addition, the Museum's outreach programs build bridges to children in our public schools and to our neighbors in the Washington Heights community.

Exhibitions

A wide variety of exhibitions, from the four corners of the earth, illustrate the extraordinary diversity of Jewish art, textiles, sculpture, architecture, religious objects and folklore.

Publications

Two calendars a year, providing advance notice of events for adults, children and families; two newsletters about exhibitions, museum activities, membership and the world of Jewish art; award-winning catalogues of major exhibitions include photographs and scholarly essays.

Programs

Lunchbox Specials:  Cultural offerings for University staff and the general public.

Family Workshops:  Fun for children and parents who join together in creating Jewish art objects.

Art at Large:  Contemporary Jewish artists discuss their works.

Tours and Workshops for Children:  Interpretive hands-on activities based on exhibitions for children from kindergarten through junior high school.

Gallery Tours:  Special tours of the galleries, available in several languages.

Culture Connection:  Late afternoon and evening programs tailored for specific groups.
