7th INTERNATIONAL SEPHARDIC FILM FESTIVAL

This
year's Festival will feature a retrospective of the French film director of
Algerian descent, Alexandre Arkady, who is celebrated for his mastery of the
French "policier" film - the "cop" flick. There will
also be a special focus on Sephardic women, including four films produced by the
students of the Ma'ale Film School in Jerusalem.
Tuesday, December 10: Opening Gala and USA premiere of Embrace
Me, a documentary of the life of Jo Amar, acclaimed Moroccan liturgical
poet, singer and composer. With live performance by Jo Amar.
